New Season, New Show

Happy to be kicking off the new season of Poetry on a Plate with an ALL NEW SHOW !

Frank Povah, folklorist, raconteur, Musician, Poet, Storyteller and quintessential Australian will be holding court at the Campfire in 2018. Our famous campfire meals, our delicious desserts, our warm fires and welcoming hospitality will all continue unchanged, as will the days of operation (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday) times (6:30 start) and price ($25/head) – hope to see you when you head outback !!

2017 Season

Poetry on a Plate will commence operations for 2017 on Sunday the 23rd of April (1st Sunday after Easter) – times and locations remain the same. I look forward to seeing you here, travel safely ! !

Season Over for 2016

Thanks everyone for a great year!! Peter and Tracey from Kidman’s Camp, also Peter and Jane – thankyou. Mia, Alister, Rosie, Ellen, Browney, Manfred, Jason and Chloe – and everyone who has helped out during the year, thankyou so much for your help. Mostly though, to the guests who come and support the event, make it fun, possible and worthwhile – thankyou. See you around Easter 2017. Hully.

Show cancelled Thursday 29th Sept

We regret that we have to cancel Poetry on a Plate for Thursday the 29th of September due to unavoidable work commitments. Apologies for any inconvenience – We will return, in force, Sunday the 2nd of October.

Show cancellation 23rd and 25th August

Apologies for those hoping to catch the show, but I will be in the South of the State for work on Tuesday the 23rd and Thursday the 25th of August. Will be back in action on Sunday the 28th. Hully.

Two Thursdays Down

Hi Folks, There will be no Poetry on a Plate this Thursday (21st July) OR next Thursday (28th July). The weather has got in the way this week, and I am away next week – my apologies for the inconvenience, we WILL be there Sunday 24th and Tuesday 26th, weather permitting.

SHOW CANCELLED Sun 26th, Tues 28th June

Our sincere apologies, but our poet is required in Mildura for some ‘End of Financial Year’ business – we will therefore be closed Sunday 26th – Wednesday 29th. We WILL be back on Thursday 30th, weather permitting.

Booked Out Sunday 19th

We apologise for any inconvenience, but we have a very large group booking on Sunday the 19th of June, and will not be able to offer any more places. Will WILL still be open to the public on Thursday the 16th, and Tuesday the 21st if you can manage to find us on those dates.
